Meet Leanne Murner
Leanne Murner is an author, business owner/designer at 5 Little Bears Pty Ltd and a proud mum of 5 boys.
Leanne saw a gap in the market for Australian themed wooden toys and began creating products for children with an educational and Australian twist. Being a creative soul Leanne grew the business fast and as time went by her product portfolio increased.
Leanne wanted to teach kids about Australian native flora and fauna, what they are and who needs them to survive. Leanne is busy working an another series of books teaching kids about Australian animals and their habitat, threats and how we can help.
Leanne is passionate about the need for children to be educated on Australian wildlife and the prevention of extinction.
Meet illustrator Kat Fox
Kat Fox is an illustrator of children’s literature who adores telling stories through her whimsical illustration.
Kat provides her services through working with publishers and under the umbrella of her own small business Kat & Fox. Here she creates one off personalised illustrations to purchase as memorable gifts. Kat also offers illustration services to self-publishing authors and small business owners.
Kat began her career as an Interior designer, leading into design education and now a full time illustrator. She believes it was the thousands of children’s books she read to her kids every night that filled her with the passion for drawing and children’s book illustration.
